Your data, treated carefully.

We build response systems that handle real customer interest. That responsibility starts with how we collect, store, and use information — yours and the people you talk to. This page explains, plainly, what we do and what we don't.

Section 01Who this applies to

This Privacy Policy applies to iRiseUp, LLC ("iRiseUp," "we," "us") and to anyone who visits iriseup.com, books a call with us, signs up for our newsletter, or interacts with the AI response systems we build for our clients on their behalf.

If you reached this page through a system we built for another business, that business is usually the data controller. We act as their service provider and only handle data within the scope of the agreement with them.

Section 02What we collect

We try to collect only what we genuinely need. Concretely, that means:

Information you give us

  • Name, email, phone, and company when you submit our contact form or book a call.
  • Project context you share with us — what you're trying to fix, current systems, goals.
  • Email content if you reach out directly to a team member.
  • Newsletter sign-up email and any preferences you set.

Information collected automatically

  • Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, timestamps.
  • Anonymized analytics about how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 05.

Information from systems we operate

  • Conversation transcripts, form submissions, and metadata processed by AI workflows we deploy for clients.
  • Operational data needed to run, monitor, and improve those workflows.
What we don't do: we don't buy contact lists, we don't sell your data, and we don't train public AI models on private client conversations.

Section 03How we use it

We use the information described above to:

  • Reply to inquiries, schedule calls, and follow up on active engagements.
  • Deliver, operate, and improve the response systems we build.
  • Send service-related emails (proposals, project updates, invoices).
  • Send the newsletter or marketing emails you've explicitly opted into — and let you unsubscribe in one click.
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, spam, and security issues.
  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Our legal bases (where applicable, e.g., GDPR) include your consent, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in running and securing the business, and legal obligations.

Section 04Who we share it with

We share information only with vetted partners that help us run the business, and only to the extent they need it. These currently include:

  • Hosting and infrastructure (e.g., cloud servers, database, CDN).
  • Email delivery (e.g., Resend) for transactional and marketing email.
  • AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) for the model layer of the systems we build.
  • Analytics tools used in aggregate to understand site performance.
  • Payment, accounting, and CRM tools used to run client engagements.

We may also share information when we're legally required to, when it's necessary to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, asset sale) — in which case we'll notify you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.

Section 05Cookies & tracking

We use a small set of cookies to keep the site working, remember preferences, and measure traffic in aggregate. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser at any time, and the site will still work without optional cookies.

  • Essential — needed for the site to load, authenticate, and stay secure.
  • Functional — remember preferences (e.g., theme, dismissed banners).
  • Analytics — anonymized, aggregated traffic data so we can improve the experience.

Section 06How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, plus whatever we're required to keep for legal, tax, or accounting reasons. Inquiry data, when no engagement starts, is typically deleted within 24 months. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe, then deleted from the active list.

Section 07Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict our use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can also withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@iriseup.com. We respond within 30 days. If your data is handled on behalf of a client of ours, we'll route the request to them and assist as their service provider.

Section 08Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, environment isolation, and routine review of credentials and integrations. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat security as part of the product, not an afterthought. If we ever experience a breach involving your information, we'll notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

Section 09International transfers

iRiseUp is based in the United States. If you contact us from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. or other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for these transfers.

Section 10Children's privacy

Our services are built for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Section 11Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the site. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
